1. Good seasonal grooming<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

After winter, many pets shed their winter coats in favor of a lighter coat. Regular brushing helps remove dead hair and reduces matting, especially in long-haired dogs and cats. This is also a great time to check the condition of claws, pads, and ears. <\/p>\n\n

2. Protection against parasites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

With the return of warmer temperatures and the thaw, fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes are making a comeback. These parasites can transmit serious diseases such as Lyme disease or heartworm.
